Steelwrist is a Swedish technology company that develops high-performance excavator attachments that enhance efficiency, including tilt rotators, quick couplers, and work tools. To strengthen our position in the Korean market, we are hiring a Service Manager who will lead practical technical support, improve service quality, and establish service delivery methods in line with our growth.
- Work Location: Dongtan, South Korea (Office work when not on business trips)
- Start Date: As soon as possible (ASAP)
- Reporting Structure: Country Manager (Korea)
- Business Trips: Domestic business trips throughout Korea, overseas educational business trips to Sweden and other Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries
Key Duties and Roles (What You'll Own)
- End-to-end service support in Korea: Prioritizing cases, responding quickly, and maintaining customer equipment in operation.
- On-site and Workshop Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and mechanical issues. (Knowledge of electrical and control systems is a plus.)
- Warranty and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate defects and prepare clear technical reports for collaboration with the global team.
- Partner and Customer Support: Supports service partners/dealers and provides direct support to end users when necessary.
- Commissioning and Installation: Ensures accurate setting, configuration, and stable performance of customer equipment.
- Training: Provides technical training to partners and customers. (Operation methods, best practices, service routines, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory)
- Native-level Korean (Required)
- Over 10 years of service/support experience in the field of excavators, hydraulic attachments, construction equipment, or related heavy equipment.
- Someone with outstanding hydraulic and mechanical diagnostic capabilities and confidence in finding the actual root cause
- Someone who can work independently with a high sense of responsibility and possesses excellent customer communication skills
- Someone who is able to travel frequently throughout Korea
- Possession of a valid driver's license (for customer visits and driving company vehicles)
