Integrated Guide to Documents Issued by the Home Office for Requesting Correction Claims
To apply for a dependent tax refund, you will need documents issued by your home country.
The types of documents include
- Documents proving family relationships
- Spouse: Marriage certificate, spouse's ID card included
- Children: Including birth certificate and ID card - If your child has not yet received an ID card, you may omit it.
- Certificate of no income for dependents
Supporting documents for the above two are required.
- The scope of dependents is limited to the worker's spouse and children.
- The Dependent No Income Certificate must include the words "No income".
- You may substitute your home country documents with a photo or scan, but they must be clearly identifiable.
- If the document is issued only in the applicant's native language, the applicant must also submit an English translation.
