Daesung S&M Co., Ltd. Gwangyang Plant is a manufacturer of hot-rolled and extruded products located at 59, Myeongdang 2-gil, Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do. As the Gwangyang plant of Daesung S&M Co., Ltd. (formerly Daesung Steel), established in 1978, it produces various structural steel products such as angles, flat bars, and channels.

• Hot Rolled Product Production: After heating steel semi-finished slabs, final structural steel products are produced through a three-stage rolling process consisting of rough rolling, intermediate rolling, and finishing rolling. We have an annual rolling facility production capacity of 300,000 tons.
• Manufacturing of General Steel Sections for Shipbuilding: We have established an equipment system optimized for the production of general steel sections for shipbuilding, enabling us to manufacture products of grades A, B, D, and E. Depending on POSCO slab supply conditions, we are also planning to upgrade our facilities to produce Grade F products.

• Angle: A steel section product with a cross-section shaped like the letter 'ㄱ', used as a structural material in various industrial fields.
• Flat Bar: A structural steel product with a rectangular cross-section. It is also custom-produced as a material for grating manufacturing, including standard grating flat bars, serrated flat bars, and non-slip bars.
• Channel: A steel section product with a cross-section shaped like the letter 'ㄷ', used for various purposes such as construction and civil engineering.

• State-of-the-art facilities and efficient production system: We designed the factory interior with two floors to arrange the production lines and introduced a roll quick change system to improve ease of equipment maintenance and product stacking efficiency, thereby maximizing productivity.
